By creating an account on “TeamCelestron.com” (hereinafter also called simply “TeamCelestron”) you are agreeing to become part of Celestron’s public beta testing user group. In doing so, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “TeamCelestron.com”.
1. TEAMCELESTRON: TeamCelestron.com is primarily a forums based community. Members of this community will hereinafter be called “users”, “members”, “posters” or “administrators”. TeamCelestron.com is owned and operated by Celestron. Our forums are powered by phpBB which is a bulletin board solution released under the “General Public License”. The creators of phpBB are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct.
2. SOFTWARE: As used in this document, and on the forums, the terms “Software” and “Firmware” can refer to any code running on a PC, or embedded system such as a Celestron Hand Controller, Motor Controller, mobile phone, or other device. Only Celestron is allowed to post software to these forums.
3a) The comments of any member which are posted to TeamCelestron.com belong to Celestron and may NOT be reproduced outside of TeamCelestron.com by any other member without explicit permission of Celestron or the original author.
3b) Members of TeamCelestron.com will be exposed to software that has new features or updates that have not yet been released to the public. You are prohibited from sharing this software or revealing its contents/ features with anyone without explicit permission from Celestron.
4a) You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, or threatening material.
4b) You agree not to engage in personal attacks of other members.
We may change these rules at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “TeamCelestron.com” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
Violating any of these rules may, lead to you being immediately and permanently banned. Celestron reserves the right to ban any member for any reason without prior notification.
You agree that Celestron and the administrators of TeamCelestron.com have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “TeamCelestron.com”, nor Celestron, nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
